I presented on 'My Journey To Independence' at the World Down Syndrome Congress in 2018.

In 2021, James and I spoke together at the World Down Syndrome Congress about our marriage, encouraging everyone to 'unlock their hidden potential'.

I delivered a talk at the Prenatal Testing, Disability, and the Ethical Society conference at University of Oxford in 2022. I have also given talks at Coventry University, educating midwives and nurses about how to speak to and treat people with learning disabilities.

I was shortlisted as a Positive Role Model at the National Diversity Awards 2020.

In February 2020 I started my legal challenge against the UK government to get the abortion law changed to make the cut off point of 24 weeks for all pregnancies.  At the moment the law allows abortion up to birth for disabled babies.  We lost in the High Court but are taking the case to the Court of Appeal in July.
